We have identified a possible risk of explosion in a limited number of Freestanding Gas Cookers from the production period 2006 - 2011. The reason is potential damage to further installed gas connectors. In particular circumstances, gas can escape and, in extremely rare cases, there might be a risk of explosion.

The adaptor between the gas supply and the appliance may crack causing a potential gas leak.
Leaking gas may cause an explosion.
1. Immediately check the appliance rating plate for the Model Number (E-Nr) and Batch Number (FD) and visit productsafety.bsh-group.com to confirm if it’s an affected unit. Located either on the right side of the oven door or cavity when the door is open, or in the accessory drawer when the drawer is open.
2. If the appliance is affected or if there is uncertainty immediately shut off the gas supply to the appliance and stop using the appliance.
3. Notify Bosch Customer Service, via the contacts below, of the address where the appliance is located, appliance details and your contact details, so that arrangements can be made for an engineer to visit and complete the free in home repair.
